This course provides an effective insight of the requirements for controlling hazardous substances in the workplace and is designed to provide the skills necessary for compliance with COSHH regulations. It also explains the duties imposed on employers and employees, and how best these requirements can be implemented in the workplace.
By the end of the course, you will be performing your own COSHH risk assessments with confidence. This will help you to protect your staff and business, as well as comply with the law.
The nature of the course means plenty of hands-on experience to complement the theory and the basics of air sampling and monitoring for dust, gases, and vapours. This will be studied alongside a close look at the regulations and their impact.
Looking at control measures is a very important issue and the experience of the delegates and lecturer is drawn upon here.
On completion of the course, the attendees will be able to develop and carry out a monitoring programme appropriate to their own company requirements.
